The City of San Antonio and the Bexar County Office of Emergency Management are asking residents and business owners to report property damage resulting from the flooding event that occurred on Wednesday, June 11, and Thursday, June 12.
Affected individuals are encouraged to complete a self-assessment survey through the Individual State of Texas Assessment Tool (iSTAT), available at https://damage.tdem.texas.gov. The form is available in both English and Spanish and is limited to one entry per impacted address.
Information gathered through the iSTAT survey will help local and state emergency management officials assess the scope of damage to residential, commercial, and agricultural properties.
The survey is intended to:
Collect detailed data on storm-related damage,
Support assessments of community-wide impact,
Assist in planning for cleanup, infrastructure repairs, and long-term recovery,
Help emergency managers understand the full extent of the disaster.
Officials note that submitting the iSTAT damage report is voluntary and does not replace filing claims with insurance providers. Completion of the survey does not guarantee disaster assistance.
