On Tuesday, May 13th, a man sustained injuries following an assault involving a handgun at the Quick Trip store located at 10917 Marbach Rd in West San Antonio, near Loop 1604.
According to the Bexar County Sheriff's Office (BCSO), the incident occurred after a near collision in the gas station parking lot involving the victim and two unknown Hispanic males. These two individuals were soon joined by four associates who arrived in a maroon truck pulling a fifth-wheel trailer loaded with heavy construction equipment.
The group surrounded the victim, and a heavyset man wearing a dark blue shirt, blue jeans, a baseball cap, and sporting a long beard allegedly pulled out a black handgun. He then pointed the weapon at the victim and struck him multiple times in the head with it.
The victim's condition is currently unknown. BCSO is asking for the public's assistance in identifying the suspects involved. Anyone with information or who recognizes the individuals in the provided pictures is urged to contact BCSO at 210.335.6000 or email bcsotips@bexar.org.
