Three individuals are in custody following a brazen robbery at a vape shop on the Northwest Side of San Antonio on Friday, May 9th.
According to police reports, two male suspects, dressed entirely in black with their faces concealed, entered the vape shop and confronted the store clerk. One of the suspects allegedly pointed a gun at the clerk and demanded money from the store safe and the victim. Authorities also reported that one of the male suspects made unwanted sexual contact with the victim before being stopped by the other male suspect.
The two suspects then fled the scene with the victim's necklace and various store merchandise. A third suspect was waiting nearby and served as the getaway driver.
Following the incident, investigators swiftly located and apprehended all three individuals involved in the robbery.
The three individuals arrested have been identified as 22-year-old Jordan Mazon, 24-year-old Sharon Mendoza, and 25-year-old Samir Saleh. Authorities noted that Jordan Mazon was also booked on additional, unrelated Aggravated Robbery warrants.
The San Antonio Police Department highlighted the collaborative effort of the Prue Patrol, Street Crimes Unit, and the Robbery Task Force Unit in the quick apprehension of the suspects.
