Christopher Irving, 41, a faculty member at a local high school within the Judson Independent School District (ISD), has been arrested on charges of sexual performance involving a child and child grooming.
The investigation began in late March 2025 after students at the high school reported allegations against Irving. A collaborative effort between the San Antonio Police Department’s Special Victims Unit (SAPD SVU) and the FBI-San Antonio Child Exploitation Human Trafficking Task Force was launched to investigate the claims.
The investigation revealed that Irving allegedly contacted underage students through social media platforms and attempted to entice them into online sexual activities.
With the assistance of the U.S. Marshals Service, Irving was taken into custody today without incident. He has been arrested on one count of sexual performance – child and two counts of child grooming.
Authorities are asking anyone who recognizes Christopher Irving and believes they may also be a victim to contact SAPD SVU Detectives at 210-207-2313.
The SAPD commended the work of their SVU Detectives, along with their partners at the FBI - San Antonio, U.S. Marshals Service, and Judson ISD Police Department, for their thorough investigation and for bringing justice to the victims in this case.
