On Thursday, November 21, 2024, the Gillespie County Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Division concluded a three-month investigation into methamphetamine distribution within the county. The operation resulted in multiple arrests and the seizure of significant quantities of illegal drugs.
The investigation began with information implicating a 44-year-old Fredericksburg man in the sale of methamphetamine. Undercover investigators purchased methamphetamine from the suspect, leading to the issuance of an arrest warrant for possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance in Penalty Group 1 (>= 1 gram < 4 grams).
On November 21, investigators, supported by the Gillespie County Patrol Division, executed the arrest warrant at a residence in the 500 block of Deer Creek in Fredericksburg. In addition to the 44-year-old suspect, three other individuals were present at the residence. A search of the property uncovered 31.79 grams of methamphetamine, drug paraphernalia, and evidence of drug sales.
The 44-year-old male was arrested for the outstanding warrant. Additionally, a 31-year-old male and an 18-year-old female, both from Fredericksburg, were charged with Manufacture or Delivery of a Controlled Substance in Penalty Group 1 (>= 4 grams < 200 grams).
Later that day, the Narcotics and Patrol Divisions executed a second search warrant at a residence in the 200 block of Wild Horse Trail in Harper. Officers discovered approximately 1.5 grams of methamphetamine and 1.5 grams of powdered fentanyl at the property. A 54-year-old Harper woman was arrested and charged with two counts of Possession of a Controlled Substance in Penalty Group 1/1-B (>= 1 gram < 4 grams).
All four suspects were transported to the Gillespie County Jail, where they await further legal proceedings.
