Earlier this week, Dilley Police Department responded to a theft report in the 400 block of East Frio Street, where a disabled resident reported that an electric wheelchair had been stolen from their property.

During the investigation, officers located tracks leading from the victim’s address to a nearby residence. With the assistance of the Frio County Sheriff's Office, officers obtained consent to search the residence. Inside, they found Fernando Sambrano and Trisha Trevino, both with multiple outstanding misdemeanor and felony warrants. The search also uncovered controlled substances, leading to additional charges for Sambrano and Trevino.

The Dilley Police Department is actively seeking information on the stolen electric wheelchair and encourages anyone with information to contact their office as the investigation remains ongoing.
