The Kerrville Police Department has wrapped up its Operation Slowdown initiative, which ran from July 19 through August 7 in collaboration with the Texas Department of Transportation. The program aimed to address speeding and related traffic issues in Kerrville.
During the initiative, officers conducted 275 traffic stops. They issued 85 citations for speeding and 93 warnings for speeding. Additional traffic infractions included:
Officers also issued 37 citations for Expired Registration.
The Kerrville Police Department remains committed to enhancing road safety by addressing speeding, driving under the influence, and other traffic violations.
