It's been a year since 19-year-old Adreanna Marie Flores from New Braunfels vanished on May 19, 2023. The New Braunfels Police Department initiated an extensive search, spanning multiple areas including San Antonio, Bexar County, Laredo, and New Mexico.
The investigation involved the Texas Rangers, Laredo Police Department, San Antonio Police Department, New Braunfels CERT, crime labs, and the Comal County District Attorney’s Office.
That investigation has determined that Adreanna Flores is deceased.
Her boyfriend, 25-year-old Gilberto Sepulveda of San Antonio, has been apprehended and charged with Capital Murder, Continuous Family Violence, and Violation of a Protective Order. Sepulveda is presently detained at the Comal County Jail, with a bond set at a combined $813,000.
The investigation remains active, and no further details will be disclosed prior to the impending prosecution.
The New Braunfels Police Department extends gratitude to all involved agencies for their collaboration in the inquiry.
