San Antonio Police Officers responded to a shooting incident on March 30, 2024, at the 100 block of Chaucer Ave in the Harlandale area.
According to reports, the victim had arranged to sell a firearm to the suspects, but the encounter turned deadly when the victim was fatally shot during the transaction.
The SAPD Homicide Unit launched an immediate investigation, leading to the identification and apprehension of all suspects involved. Among those arrested were 18-year-old James Garcia and 19-year-old David Francisco Rebels-Garcia.
Additionally, a third suspect, a 16-year-old, was also taken into custody in connection with the case.
