On Monday, April 22, 2024, at around 6:30 am, the New Braunfels Fire Department responded to a call regarding an injured elderly male at the intersection of Landa Park Drive and Playground Drive in Landa Park. Paramedics arrived and attended to the 84-year-old man before transporting him to Christus New Braunfels Hospital.
At the hospital, the man suggested that he may have been struck by a pickup truck, causing his injuries. New Braunfels Police were informed and subsequently filed a police report. However, details about the truck, its driver, and whether the vehicle stopped at the scene remain unclear.
