Schertz Police Seek Public's Help in Solving 2021 Murder, Reward Increased

Schertz Police Department renews the call for public assistance in the case of Jerod Jeffry's murder, marking the third anniversary since the tragic event. Jerod was discovered with gunshot wounds at Sycamore Creek Apartments on March 12, 2021, and was pronounced deceased at the scene. The police department emphasizes its dedication to Jerod's family for closure and justice. Being his mother's only child, Jerod is dearly loved and missed by his family.

Authorities urge anyone with information, regardless of its perceived significance, to reach out to Detective Sergeant Trevino at 210-619-1200 or Guadalupe County Crime Stoppers. Anonymous tips can be provided by calling 877-403-8477 (TIPS), using the P3Tips app, or visiting guadalupecountycrimestoppers.org. All information shared through Crime Stoppers remains anonymous.

The reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of Jerod's perpetrator has been doubled from $5,000 to $10,000, thanks to contributions from Guadalupe County Crime Stoppers and the family.
