Methodist Hospital Hill Country Wins 14th Consecutive Healthgrades Patient Experience Award

Methodist Hospital | Hill Country has been honored with the Healthgrades Outstanding Patient Experience Award for the fourteenth consecutive year, marking another milestone in its commitment to excellence in healthcare. Additionally, the hospital has achieved recognition for being in the top 10% nationally for the second consecutive year, according to recent research by Healthgrades, a leading resource connecting consumers, physicians, and health systems.

Healthgrades evaluates hospital performance annually across nearly 4,500 hospitals nationwide, assessing 32 of the most common inpatient procedures and conditions using Medicare data and all-payer data from 16 states for specific procedures such as bariatrics and appendectomy.

The Healthgrades Specialty Excellence Awards highlight hospitals that excel in specific specialty lines and focus areas. Dr. Brad Bowman, MD, Chief Medical Officer of Healthgrades, emphasized the significance of hospital quality, stating that consumers are increasingly aware of differences in care quality and can rely on hospitals recognized for outstanding patient experiences to provide high-quality care and superior outcomes.
