On Friday, February 23, 2024, at approximately 2:33 p.m., a Gillespie County Sheriff's Office (GCSO) narcotics investigator, assisted by GCSO investigators and GCSO patrol deputies, conducted an investigation into the sale of illegal narcotics. The operation led to the arrest of 45-year-old Conrrado Neri-Rodriguez of Fredericksburg in a parking lot located within the 500 block of East Highway Street.
Neri-Rodriguez was found to be in possession of approximately 6.73 grams of cocaine and 2.86 grams of methamphetamine. Consequently, he has been charged with Manufacture or Delivery of a Controlled Substance in Penalty Group 1, specifically for quantities equal to or greater than 4 grams but less than 200 grams for cocaine, and quantities equal to or greater than 1 gram but less than 4 grams for methamphetamine.
