Preston Schuetze Memorial Car Show Scheduled for May 6 in Lakehills

The second annual Preston Schuetze Memorial Car Show will be Saturday, May 6, at the Lakehills Civic Center, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

The event is held in memory of Preston Schuetze, who passed away after a tragic motorcycle accident in 2021, leaving behind his wife and three boys.

Money raised from this event will be donated in Preston’s name to the Childrens Bereavement Center of South Texas.

“This center holds a special place in our hearts, because after my son’s death, they truly stepped in and helped us as a family, and these three boys navigate the journey of grief and loss. I can’t imagine not having them here to help us. So to give back and help others here and in South Texas, we hold this car show,” Preston’s mother Sherree Schuetze said. “All donations and money raised will be donated to them. Last year. We raised over $8,000. This year, we hope to do more!”
Plans include a “huge” silent auction with many items, spectator voting on the vehicles, live music, food, drinks, and face painting.

There is no entry fees for cars, trucks or motorcycles. If anybody would like to donate or if they are a vendor and would like to set up a table at the car show they are more than welcome. Contact Sherree Schuetze at 210-836-4871 or email at sheschue@gmail.com
