In the early hours of November 4th, at approximately 3 AM, a shooting unfolded at an IHOP located in the 800 block of E. Commerce in San Antonio. The incident transpired following a disturbance, where the listed suspect opened fire on a victim who was inside his vehicle. The assailant shot multiple rounds into the victim's vehicle, causing injuries to the occupant. After the shooting, the suspect fled the scene.
Responding to the incident, the San Antonio Police Department's Homicide Detectives initiated an investigation. Their diligent efforts in the probe led them to identify and locate the suspect vehicle. Subsequently, the suspect, identified as 31-year-old Roberto Banda, was apprehended. Banda has been charged with Aggravated Assault with a deadly weapon. The victim, who sustained multiple gunshot wounds, is currently receiving medical attention.
